About This Dog for Adoption

Milo's ideal home

Say hello to Milo. He is a 4 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel looking for his forever home. Milo is unable to live with another dog in the home and does need some work on his social skills. He can live with secondary school aged children who are aware that he does have limited hearing and will give him space when he needs it. When meeting new people he is very friendly and does like to say hello. Milo will also need some work on his time being left alone as he does struggle on his own.

Could you be Milo's perfect match?

Milo is a very sweet boy who does need some work on his social skills with other dogs, but he makes up for it with his love of his people! Milo does have limited hearing, so ideally someone who is happy to learn how to do training with a deaf dog or has experience of it would be great, but not essential. Milo can also be a little worried of the outside world, so a family that is happy to help build his confidence would be great! Milo will make a great addition to his new home.

King Charles Spaniel Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the King Charles Spaniel Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
