About This Dog for Adoption

Rosie's ideal home

Rosie is a 7 year, beautiful, petite Cavalier who is looking for an equally lovely home. Rosie is currently in a fantastic foster home where she is doing so well, she has a great routine, is clean in the house and loves going out on adventures with her foster mum, however, she equally loves to snooze and cuddle on the sofa too!

Could you be Rosie's perfect match?

Rosie is a super social girl and loves everyone that she meets, humans and dogs alike! However, Rosie likes to have her relaxed space to herself, and so would like to be the only dog in the home but will happily have social dog friends. Rosie is super sweet and wins the hearts of everyone she meets, she would like a semi-active home as she does love to sniff and explore and be social. Rosie only has one eye after loosing one due to an injury, she copes extremely well and isn't affected by this at all. Rosie also has a low grade heart mumur, something that is very common in Cavaliers but she does not require medication for this currently, as well as a mild luxating patella that also doesn't affect her mobility or cause her pain as well as not needing any intervention at this stage. Don't let this bother you tough, as it doesn't bother Rosie and she is living her very best life- she looks forward to finding her new humans to share this with!

King Charles Spaniel Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the King Charles Spaniel Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
