About This Dog for Adoption
Charlie's ideal home
Charlie is looking for a calm and loving home to relax in and enjoy her golden years, adopters with knowledge of her breed and understanding of her grooming needs would be ideal. She can live with children aged 8 and over who can play nicely with her when she wants and give her space to rest when needed. Charlie could live with another calm and polite dog who will happily co-exist with her, this will be pending successful meetings at the centre, living with another dog is not a necessity, she would be happy with friendly walking buddies, she cannot live with cats or other small furries. Charlie has some training under her belt, she does a lovely “sit”, she can be convinced to do training in short sweet sessions if a tasty treat is on offer, she has been fully housetrained in the past but may need a refresher, so access to a garden is preferred. Charlie settles nicely in the home and could be left for up to 2-4 hours, this would need to be built up once she has had time to settle into her new home. Charlie has a couple of ongoing medications, which will be discussed with our vet team prior to meeting her, please do bear this in mind before applying. Charlie will need to meet her adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
Could you be Charlie's perfect match?
Beautiful little lady Charlie is an 11 and a half year old Cavalier/Bichon Cross who is just looking for a snuggly spot to curl up in and watch the world go by. She likes a gentle stroll, enjoying a good sniff and explore at her own pace. She loves a fuss, and will climb onto your lap for ultimate snuggles, if you stop fussing her she will paw you for more. She hasn’t really shown an interest in toys as yet, she would much rather interacting with her favourite people. Charlie is ready to find her new home.
