Ruby's ideal home

Ruby is on the search for her forever home with adopters who are around for most of the day to help her settle into her new home environment. She is looking to be the only dog in the home as she has shown some reactivity but would like to continue her desensitisation and socialisation when out on her walks. She can live with children in the home. Adopter will need to be willing to continue her weight loss journey. Ruby does have some medical considerations which will be discussed with our vet team upon a booking.

Ruby is a very lovely lady who absolutely adores spending quality time around her favourite people. She adores snuggles and will often come over to you to initiate fuss. She loves to be treated like a princess and particularly like a tasty treat (must be given in moderation to help her continue her weight loss journey). Ruby knows her name, sit, paw and is learning stay. She is also housetrained! Ruby will make a wonderful addition to her forever family.

King Charles Spaniel Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
