About This Dog for Adoption

Honey Bee's ideal home

Sweet Honey-Bee is looking for a home with another dog for her to gain confidence from, as they help to make her highly adaptable. She would suit a relaxed lifestyle, just somewhere she has a sofa she can cuddle up on. She will need her new owner to be patient with her unpredictable toileting habits, happy to have puppy pads down or have wipe clean flooring. She can live with children 5+. Honey Bee has some ongoing medical needs so her new owners would have to factor in the extra costs associated with this. We will discuss this further if your application is shortlisted.

Could you be Honey Bee's perfect match?

Honey-Bee is a very sweet, gentle old lady with a happy nature, who loves to be around other dogs. She is approximately 8 years old and she is the perfect companion dog. She loves her food and to snuggle up on the sofa. She does have short bursts of energy, where she enjoys bounding around and sniffing with her doggy friends. Slightly weary of very close contact, Honey-bee needs someone who will be patient with her ongoing training as an older dog who’s not had a great start to life.

King Charles Spaniel Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the King Charles Spaniel Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
